I have been happy Glen owner for 14 years but dogs have been always been part of my life and close to my heart. I presently own three gorgeous Glen ladies Rosa, Hertta and Iris. My dogs have had three litters under the name of Kennel Taramont and first Glenrosedale litter was born in July 2012. I have passed The Finnish Kennel Club’s breeders course in 2010 and founded my own Kennel Glenrosedale in 2011. My intention is to breed healthy and good-natured Irish Glen of Imaal Terriers.
I am a member of following associations Finnish Kennel Club, Finnish Glen of Imaal Terrier Association (also a acting board member), Finnish Terrier Association, Finnish Breeders Association. I have signed the Finnish Kennel Club’s breeder commitment declaration and I will act in accordance with its requirements when breeding dogs.
Next litter is planned to born in spring 2017 for Hertta aka Glenrosedale Aoibheann Nion Rós who is a healthy and good natured bridle girl. She is a PRA-free and her other health results can be found at Finnish Kennel Club data base http://jalostus.kennelliitto.fi/frmKoira.aspx?RekNo=FI45860%2F12&R=302. The fiancé is a gorgeous bridle Hammersmøllers Icarus DKK 08826/2011 who is a also healthy and good-natured five yrs old glen.
All the puppies given for adoption are at least eight week of age, health checked by certified veterinarian, micro chipped and I will employ the puppy temperament test for all of my litters. Prospective adoptive families or persons must also be responsible future dog owners and pass the adoptive interview before I will allow anyone to take possession of my puppy.

Some history……
I am planning to have my very first own litter in this coming summer 2012. I will breed Rosa (Tarmont Niamh Tirnan’og FIN37987/06 http://jalostus.kennelliitto.fi/frmKoira.aspx?RekNo=FIN37987/06&R=302 ) as soon as she will get in heat. Rosa has been DNA tested and she is negative to PRA. The lucky fiancé Remu is also tested PRA negative. I will keep you updated and let you know ASAP once Rosa is mated and her future pregnacy is confirmed with ultrasound.
May 21th 2012, Rosa has been mated with Gleann Ouakebroof Boy (FIN60192/08) a.k.a. Remu and we are hoping to have glen puppies in the mid of July. Keep fingers crossed!
Ultrasound check was today (June 18 th, 2012) and we saw 8 little glen puppies developing in Rosa’s womb. We were all very happy and excited about this wonderful news. Puppies will be born around 21-23. of July.

July 18th, 2012. Rosa is doing fine and she has been very relaxed expecting mom. But her belly is really BIG and keep growing and growing…. We are expecting Rosa’s delivery to start in few days.
Sunday 22nd of July 2012. A-litter has born in the beautiful sunny morning and 3 lovely brindle bitches and 2 wheaten bitches and 3 handsome dogs are sleeping and eating happily in the whelping box. Rosa-mom and all 8 pups are doing fine.
