Happily back at home on Monday night from Crufts! Aila, me and Rosa had a fantastic and amazing trip to UK! Rosa became forth in her class and we celebrate that with a bottle of champagne, although we would have open the bottle just for that we were at the Crufts 2012.
We had really fun on this girl’s trip and it did not disturb at all that it required the extra effort to get the NEC. Flying to Brussels, renting a car, driving to France and crossing the channel, and driving with a Belgian rental car on the “wrong” site of English roads! Our first stop was London to meet friends. Next day we continued to beautiful Oxford and then we drove to my friend’s lovely country house at Spratton. We spend two days at Crufts, and Sunday we beat our record by being at the dog show for 13 hrs.
Meeting the entire glen folk was really lovely, seeing so many glens, terrier group and being able to see in live the best of the show at Crufts was worth of every effort. We simply had the best dog show trip ever! We laughed, ate, drank, met nice people and saw so many fantastic dogs! Thanks to Aila being so well prepared “kennel-girl” and my PA, that what ever little obstacle we faced, Aila solved the problems and kept me on the left side of the English roads!
